Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2 business days.

PVC enclosures and custom builds production times vary, between 2 weeks and 4 weeks. Contact for information.

 

Local deliveries are weekdays between 11am and 5pm.

Courier delivery and pickups are weekdays.

No deliveries or ship outs on weekends or holidays.

Frozen feeder ship outs are on Monday only unless it is a holiday, then will be Tuesday.

Live animal ship outs are on Monday or Tuesday only.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Displayed shipping cost is an estimate and maybe more or less. If you want an accurate cost, email info@firststrikesnakes.com or choose Manual Shipping Rate at checkout and an updated invoice will be sent.

We use all couriers from Canada Post, Canpar, Purolator, FedEx and UPS depending on your location and best cost.

Local deliveries are weekdays between 11am-5pm. If you are not there to receive your order and it must be returned to us, and additional charge will apply. Please have either a drop location or neighbor available to receive your order if you cannot.

*Live rodents are available for Local delivery only. Reptile Runner will be used for all live reptile deliveries only, unless service to your location is restricted to air, WestJet cargo will be used. *

 

 

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Courier companies cannot ship to PO boxes. Physical address is required.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

Once your order is packed and a shipping label has been created you will receive a tracking number.

Customs, duties, and taxes

 Firststrike is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Do not worry Firststrike will send out NEW product/s once the claim is approved and file has been completed with the insurance company. Be advised this could be 1 week to 3 months, depending on insurance company and courier.

Firststrike is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier or our support team directly to file a claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim. The courier company will return to pick up damaged goods.

International Shipping Policy

We currently ship international for all our products, PVC enclosures and Racks. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 

Live animal shipments are through Reptile Runner or Reptile Express and require additional time to arrange. Cost varies depending on your location. To the US, shipping one animal starts at $300cdn, for CITIES shipments.
